A food truck is literally a mini-restaurant on wheels. It is a mobile kitchen, canteen or catering truck that sells food and/or drinks to the public. Food trucks usually park in a high-traffic areas; urban centers, downtown office complexes, carnivals, festivals, parks, and foodball games. A food truck may move from location to location throughout the day and showcases numerous cuisines and exotic foods indigenous to various regions of the United States. A food truck is often seen as the testing group for new and exciting foods; they are the cutting edge of the food business.
*Don’ t confuse a food truck with a food cart. They may both be mobile kitchens, but a cart is towed by another vehicle or pushed by the person running the cart which is often what you see with a hot dog cart.
